氢氧化钠（NaOH）又称烧碱或碱液，是一种具有腐蚀性的白色结晶固体，含有钠阳离子和氢氧根阴离子。它很容易吸收水分，直至溶解。它是使用最广泛的工业碱，常用于下水道和烤箱清洁剂。氢氧化钠是氯生产的副产品。它是一种用途广泛的物质，可用于各种生产工艺。1807 年，汉弗莱-戴维爵士通过电解熔融氢氧化钠，首次制备出元素形式的钠。
