The dataset represents the waste management activity of \"municipal solid waste\" in a sanitary landfill. The recommended use of this dataset: for average municipal/public waste mixtures. It is not suitable to represent any single specific waste, such as plastic, paper, or cardboard. The characteristics of urban solid waste in Anshun City, Guizhou Province, are as follows: food waste 62.57%, paper 10.28%, rubber 9.84%, textile (fiber) 0.51%, wood and bamboo 7.02%, ash and soil 0.68%, brick, tile, and ceramics 2.36%, glass 0.37%, metal 2.24%, and other 4.12%. Moisture content 66. 28%, higher heating value 5643.45 kJ/kg, lower heating value 3721.97 kJ/kg. The carbon share from the initial waste, i.e., 60.4% biogenic. The ratio of unoxidized and largely recoverable metals in the waste (excluding very small or very thin components): Iron: 60.03%; Aluminum: 17.81%; Copper: 72.83%. Overall degradation rate of waste for 100 years: 18.73%. Description technologique

This is an inventory for a sanitary (controlled) landfill for municipal solid waste. The final average landfill height is 20 meters. The duration of the operation phase is 30 years. The landfill gas collection and utilization for this waste begins one year after disposal in the landfill and lasts for 30 years. The landfill gas utilization conversion efficiency is 70%, with 50% converted to electricity and 50% to heat.
