Dataset availability
Dataset pages provide names, versions, scope, sources and available quality information. Indicators show whether published inputs, outputs and impact results can be viewed.
Comparing datasets
Compare results only when functional unit, reference flow, method, geography, time, and system boundary are compatible.
Sources and provenance
Review original sources and field-processing notes on dataset pages. Search interpretations help find records; they are not dataset content.
Versions and withdrawals
Each dataset version has its own link. Withdrawn or restricted content is removed from the catalog.
Availability and permission to reuse
A public catalog entry does not by itself grant permission to reuse the underlying data. Review the source and license for each version; inputs, outputs and impact results have separate availability indicators.
Using description search
Describe the product, geography, period and technology you need. Keyword results appear first, followed by an update when description matches are ready. Matches refer to existing catalog datasets; review their details to assess suitability.
Saving and comparing versions
Save process and flow versions, add notes and share your selection. Compare 2–4 process versions to review their scope and methods, and consider system boundaries and study goals before use.
