Dataset description
The key processes of production technology include underground mining and beneficiation of copper ore, flash smelting of copper concentrate, flash conversion of matte, anode furnace refining, casting of crude copper and electrolysis of anode copper.
Technology description
flash smelting is a smelting method that makes full use of the huge active surface of finely ground materials to enhance the smelting reaction process. The fine powder of metal sulfide concentrate and flux are dried and sprayed together with air into the hot flash furnace chamber to create favorable heat and mass transfer conditions, enabling the chemical reaction to proceed at an extremely high speed.
Geographic context
Data of refined copper were derived from on-site surveys and annual monitoring report of several copper production enterprises located in Anhui province and Jiangxi province of China.
